At Roum, we want you to love your jewelry. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a clear and fair return policy along with a 30-day warranty with a 7 days return policy.
Sale Items
Items purchased during Early Access, Holidays, Black Friday, Independence Day, Labor Day or any item marked as sale are not eligible for return or refund.
Returns & Exchanges — Full Price Items
If you’re not completely satisfied, please email your return/exchange request to roum@roum.co with in 7 days after the delivery has been received, with the following: 1. Original order number 2. Your full name, email, and phone number 3. Reason for the return or exchange (attach photos if the item is damaged). A member of our Customer Care team will reply within 1–2 business days.
Damaged Items in Delivery
If you receive merchandise that is damaged, we offer a replacement within 7 days of receipt. Include clear photos of the damage when submitting your request to expedite the process.
Restocking Fee & Return Shipping
For other returns (aside from damaged items) within 7 days, a 15% restocking fee applies. This fee helps cover processing, inspection, and handling of returned items and will be deducted from the refunded or credited amount.
For approved returns, Roum will provide a prepaid return shipping label. While return shipping is covered by Roum, the 15% restocking fee will still apply.
Processing & Credits
Once we receive your return, please allow 3–5 business days for inspection and processing before your store credit or exchange is issued. Approved returns will be credited for the purchase price less any applicable restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item sent).
Shipping & Liability
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing packages during return transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping your shipment receipt until your return is processed.
Cancellations
Because Roum is a small New York atelier with made-to-order production (14k gold pieces are crafted to schedule), orders cannot be cancelled once accepted and put into production. If you need assistance after placing an order, please contact Customer Care and we will do our best to help.
30-Day Warranty & Return Window
All Roum jewelry is covered by a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. Returns, exchanges, refunds, or warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. No returns, exchanges, or warranty claims will be accepted after the 30-day warranty period.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, tarnishing due to exposure to chemicals or water, improper care, or lost/stolen items. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the 30-day warranty period, Roum will offer, at our discretion, a repair, replacement, or refund/store credit. After the 30-day warranty period has ended, all sales are considered final.
